No reputable outlet has published a net worth for Bruce Gendelman, the Palm Beach insurance executive and artist. The $2 million figure that used to lead this page had no source and has been removed, along with the claim that he is a small-time agent running a website. The record shows something different: he chairs Bruce Gendelman Company, a national insurance brokerage for wealthy families, and he is the artist behind one of the largest bronze sculptures in the United States, a Holocaust memorial in West Palm Beach.
What is Bruce Gendelman's net worth?
Forbes, Bloomberg, Celebrity Net Worth and major newspapers have not estimated his wealth. His brokerage is privately held, so its revenue and profit are not public, and we give no figure. The old $2 million estimate and the $100,000 salary attached to it were not based on anything we could find.
The public facts point to a business of real size. The firm's website lists private client insurance professionals in more than 20 locations, from Palm Beach, Miami and New York to Chicago, Los Angeles, Aspen and Milwaukee. The Palm Beach Daily News described it in 2013 as a national insurance brokerage chaired by Gendelman.

Bruce Gendelman yearly earnings, monthly income and salary
The previous page listed $100,000 a year, $8,400 a month and $278 a day, for work at a site called insur-ence.com. We found no link between Gendelman and that site, and no source for the income figures, so both are removed. As chairman and owner of a private brokerage, his pay and dividends are not disclosed.

Bruce Gendelman Insurance Services
The company, which trades as Bruce Gendelman Insurance Services, focuses on private client insurance: coverage for affluent individuals and families, including homes, fine art, jewelry, wine collections, and flood and earthquake risks. It says it offers each client a dedicated insurance concierge.
In a 2018 press release, company CEO Joseph Gendelman promoted "blanket" family policies, which replace a set of separate policies for each family member with one shared program. He argued this reduces gaps in coverage and makes fees clearer. That release also quotes Bruce Gendelman on the same approach.
Artist: the Children's Holocaust Memorial
Gendelman's second career is as an artist working in painting, sculpture, photography and installation. His Holocaust artworks have been shown at the National Museum of American Jewish History, the Holocaust Memorial Center in Michigan and the Palac Sztuki in Krakow, Poland, according to Galerie. His subjects also include landscape, portraiture and the COVID-19 pandemic.
His largest work, the Gendelman Children's Holocaust Memorial, was dedicated on the MorseLife Health System campus in West Palm Beach in January 2024, two days before International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Galerie reported:
- More than 30,000 pounds of bronze, standing 27 feet tall and 26 feet wide
- 347 individually cast pieces made by the lost-wax method and joined on site
- 5,000 ceramic butterflies painted by students, Holocaust survivors and community members
- More than four years of work with over 200 craftspeople and engineers
The tree shape was inspired by kapok trees, and a chimney ruin from a concentration camp is hidden in the canopy, a symbol he often uses in his paintings, citybiz reported. The memorial honors the 1.5 million children killed in the Holocaust and is part of MorseLife's Holocaust education program. MorseLife's chief executive, Keith A. Myers, told Galerie that Gendelman's plan for the work led the organization to expand its Holocaust Learning Experience beyond Palm Beach so it is now offered across Florida. About 400 guests attended the dedication, including former Israeli ambassador Michael Oren.
Philanthropy and community roles
- In January 2019 the Ryan Licht Sang Bipolar Foundation gave him its Shining Star Award, its highest honor, for his support and leadership, the Palm Beach Daily News reported.
- In 2013 he joined the board of the Palm Beach Photographic Centre, where he also exhibited his photography.
- He and his wife, Lori, run the Bruce and Lori Gendelman Family Foundation in Palm Beach, a small private foundation founded in 1999 that held about $16,000 in assets in 2022, according to its filings on ProPublica.
Wife and personal life
Gendelman is married to Lori Gendelman; the couple's names appear together on their family foundation and in Palm Beach society coverage. He is a longtime Palm Beach resident. The old page's claims about his upbringing in a family of insurance agents, his education, his age, height and weight had no source and have been removed.
