On March 5, 2018, Marc-André Leclerc and Ryan Johnson began a climbing adventure to the North Face of Mendenhall Towers. They were supposed to return from their adventure on the 7th of March, but unfortunately, they didn’t come back as expected.

A thorough search was conducted to find the two alpinists, but it was to no avail as they couldn’t find them until today, and they are presumed dead.
