In this article
No independent outlet has published a net worth figure for Brian Etemad, so this page does not give one. Etemad is a U.S.-trained lawyer who runs Tamleek, a Dubai real estate brokerage, advisory and development group he founded in the mid-2010s. In a 2018 interview with Gulf News, he said the firm had sold more than Dh2 billion (about $545 million) of property in six months, which is the clearest public measure of its scale.
What Is Brian Etemad's Net Worth?
We found no estimate of Etemad's personal wealth from Forbes, Bloomberg, Arabian Business or any other outlet that researches fortunes. Tamleek describes itself as a company worth billions of dirhams on its website, and some social media posts and user-edited pages call Etemad a billionaire, but those are self-descriptions, not independent valuations. Tamleek is privately held and does not publish accounts.
Keep in mind that property sales volume is not the same as profit. A brokerage earns a commission on each sale, not the full price. Etemad also told Gulf News in 2018 that his overheads were high and that the firm was profitable at that stage, though not by millions.

Brian Etemad's Yearly Earnings, Monthly Income and Salary
The old version of this page said Etemad earned $100 million a year, $8.3 million a month and $277,000 a day. None of those figures had a source, and they have been removed.
What Etemad has said about his own pay is unusual. In the 2018 Gulf News interview he said he has no attachment to money and that 70 percent of the share he takes as CEO goes to charity, especially to support orphans. That is his own account; we found no independent report of his donations. He also said he pays staff double the usual salary and reinvests profits in the company.
Early Career and Education
Etemad's company biography describes him as a U.S. attorney licensed in New York and California who worked as a strategic consultant to state politicians and gave legal advice in Singapore before moving into property. It also says he was legal counsel to Emaar Properties and worked on Emaar's collaboration with Giorgio Armani. These claims come from Tamleek's own leadership page, and Gulf News described him in 2018 as an experienced American lawyer who had been an executive at Emaar.
The older version of this page said he studied at New York Law School and New York University. We could not confirm the schools from a published source, so they have been removed. The same page said he started as a sales associate at a real estate firm and saved to start his own business; no source supports that, and it has also been removed.
Profile pieces in Khaleej Times' corporate section, which read as promotional, say he later served as managing director for Hamptons International in the UAE and North Africa and as CEO of Christie's International Real Estate in the UAE, before starting Tamleek.
Professional Life: Building Tamleek
Tamleek Real Estate Co. began as an investment advisory and brokerage firm in Dubai. Tamleek's own materials and Khaleej Times' corporate profile say it later grew into Tamleek REIT & Global Investments, adding property development and investment.
| Date | Milestone | Source |
|---|---|---|
| April 2016 | Tamleek appointed by Meeras to sell 63 units at Nikki Beach Residences on Pearl Jumeira | Construction Week |
| April 2016 | Tamleek acts as exclusive sales agent for the Ultimate Collection penthouses at Al Habtoor City | Construction Week |

The 2016 deals show the kind of work Tamleek did: selling luxury projects on behalf of big developers. The Al Habtoor City VIP penthouses it marketed were priced at $57 million each, making them more expensive than the $54.4 million penthouse at One Palm Jumeirah, Construction Week reported. At Nikki Beach Residences, Tamleek was the sole agent for 63 branded units.
The dates in the sources do not line up neatly. Construction Week names Etemad as Tamleek's CEO in April 2016, while the September 2018 Gulf News piece describes Tamleek as having been in the UAE market for under a year, which may refer to a relaunch. We report both as published.
Staff and offices
In the same 2018 interview, Etemad said Tamleek had 160 employees and planned to reach about 400 by the end of that year. He said the firm planned offices in Dubai, Riyadh, Kuwait City, Qatar, Monaco and Mumbai, and that Saudi Arabia was its biggest source of investors, followed by India and Pakistan. We could not confirm whether all of those offices opened. Tamleek's website lists its head office in Emaar Square, Downtown Dubai.
Brian Etemad's Wife and Personal Life
The old page named a wife, Samira Nasser, and gave his age as 43, his height as 6 feet and his weight as 87 kg. We found no reliable source for any of these details, so they have been removed. Etemad has not discussed his family in the business press we reviewed.
Recent Changes (2025–2026)
We found no news coverage from 2025 or 2026 of new Tamleek projects, deals or changes in Etemad's role in the Gulf business press. Most recent material about him comes from his own social media and company channels, which we do not treat as independent sources.

Why There Is No Reliable Estimate
Almost everything published about Etemad's wealth comes from him or his company: company web pages, promotional profiles and his own interviews. Tamleek does not publish revenue or profit, and Etemad's ownership stake and other assets are not disclosed. Big sales numbers show that Tamleek handled a lot of property, but they do not show how much money reached him. Until an independent outlet publishes a figure with a method, we will not give one.
