No publication such as Forbes or Celebrity Net Worth has published an independent estimate of Caitlin Pyle's net worth. The closest thing is her own account, reported by the New York Post in February 2024, that she had been worth $4 million and sold her company, Proofread Anywhere, for $4 million before trading her Orlando mansion for a van. That is a self-reported, past figure, and she also said she later had to draw on her savings, so we do not present it as her current net worth.
What is Caitlin Pyle's net worth?
The only numbers on record come from Pyle herself, in interviews distributed by the SWNS news agency and published by the New York Post and Metro in 2024:
- She said she was once worth $4 million and at her peak, by age 31, was making $4 million a year from her business.
- She said she sold Proofread Anywhere for $4 million. The Penny Hoarder reports the sale took place in 2022.
- After her divorce, she said she paid about $180,000 in upkeep on the house she owned alone and had to dip into her nest egg to cover bills.
- She bought a Mercedes Sprinter van for $88,000 and spent $102,000 converting it.
These figures show a large business exit, but they come from one source, the subject herself, and they describe the past. The $4 million figure that appeared on this page before was presented as her 2026 net worth without a source. We have removed it, along with an invented income table, a height and weight, and the claim that she owns a wellness company called Wild Orchid, which we could not verify.

How she made her money: Proofread Anywhere
Pyle worked proofreading transcripts for court reporters in Orlando. By mid-2014 she and her then-husband were earning $5,000 to $6,000 a month between them, Business Insider reported in 2015. Aspiring court proofreaders kept asking her how to break into the work, so in fall 2014 she wrote an ebook on it. Readers had so many follow-up questions that in February 2015 she launched a full online course on her site, Proofread Anywhere.
It worked quickly. The course made $9,000 in profit in its first month, and by July 2015 the couple had earned more than $250,000 in profit, Business Insider reported. At the time she sold four tiers, from a $197 starter course to a $1,197 VIP package. She told the New York Post she made $100,000 in the business's first year.
The company later added a general proofreading course alongside the court-transcript course, plus training on freelancing and marketing. The Penny Hoarder reported in 2025 that more than 24,000 people had taken its courses, with the general course priced at $797 and the transcript course at $997.

The Orlando house
With the business income, Pyle and her husband built a house in Orlando that she designed down to custom fixtures and murals. The New York Post described it as about 4,000 square feet with rooms devoted to Nintendo gaming and arts and crafts. After the marriage ended she was the sole owner, and she said maintaining the house alone became overwhelming.
Life in a van
Pyle has said she suffered burnout and a breakdown in 2022 and that a doctor advised rest, exercise and healthy food. Watching van conversion videos gave her the idea to simplify. By early 2024 she had traveled to eight states, was working remotely as a life coach and said she was living on $20 to $30 a day. She called the move the best decision she had made.
Husband and personal life
Pyle was married for about eight years; Business Insider identified her then-husband as Ben Pyle, who left a job as a college financial aid officer to start his own business in 2014. The New York Post and Metro both reported that the couple divorced. The earlier version of this page named a different man as her husband; we found no source for that and have removed it.
Her age is reported inconsistently: Metro called her 34 in 2019, while the New York Post gave her age as 36 in 2024. That places her birth in the mid- to late 1980s.

Why no current estimate exists
All the dollar figures about Pyle's wealth come from her own interviews, and the reports disagree on dates. She sold her main asset in 2022, paid large house costs, and now describes a deliberately low-cost life. Without an independent report, her current net worth cannot be stated responsibly.
