No reputable outlet, including Forbes or Celebrity Net Worth, has published an estimate of Farah Merhi's net worth. The $12.5 million figure previously shown here had no source and has been removed. Merhi is the Michigan-based creator behind Inspire Me! Home Decor, one of the most-followed home decor accounts on Instagram, and her income comes from her own product and furniture lines, brand partnerships, a book and her social media audience of more than 23 million followers.

What is Farah Merhi's net worth?

There is no published figure from a source we would trust. Sites that list numbers for her disagree widely and do not explain how they arrived at them, and influencer-analytics tools only estimate sponsored-post income. Inspire Me! Home Decor is a private company that does not disclose revenue.

What can be documented is the scale of the business. Forbes called it a lucrative home decor brand in 2019, and her partners have included QVC, Wayfair, LG Electronics, Value City Furniture and Lamps Plus. The earlier version of this page also listed an annual income of $500,000, a height, a weight and an age of 31; none of those had a source, and the age was wrong.

Early life and education

Merhi grew up in Africa and moved to the United States for school, CBS News reported. She planned to become a lawyer and studied political science, but left in the third year of her degree, according to Forbes. She told Forbes that the death of a 16-year-old cousin, and wanting to show her daughters what a life led by passion looks like, pushed her to change course.

Before she found interior design she ran a candy and dessert buffet business for weddings and parties. She sold it after about eight months. The earlier version of this page said she attended Design & Architecture Senior High; we found no source for that and have removed it.

How Inspire Me! Home Decor started

The business began with a remodel. Merhi told Realtor.com that while she and her husband were remodeling their house, she looked on Instagram for the modern glam style she wanted and did not find it, so she started her own account to document the project. She hoped for 500 followers. Forbes dates the Inspire Me! Home Decor account to 2012; in her Webby Awards interview she says she has been an influencer and entrepreneur since 2008.

Her style, glam and elegant but meant to feel warm and lived-in, drew a fast-growing audience. By 2017 she had 4.3 million Instagram followers, WWD reported, and by 2020 more than 6 million, which Value City Furniture called the most-followed home decor page on the platform.

Her home

Merhi lives in the Grand Rapids, Michigan, area; Value City Furniture's 2020 announcement described her as Grand Rapids-based. In December 2025 Realtor.com toured her house and reported that she had owned it for 19 years. The home is the backdrop for much of her content, and the remodel that started her career was of this property. No purchase price or value has been reported, so we do not give one.

Husband and children

Merhi is married, and she has spoken about remodeling with her husband. WWD described her in 2017 as a wife and mother of three, and Forbes mentions her daughters. We have not repeated the invented account of their relationship from the earlier version of this page. Her husband is not a public figure, and we could not confirm his name or occupation in a reliable published source.

How old is Farah Merhi?

Realtor.com gave her age as 40 in December 2025. She has not published an exact birth date in any source we opened.

Recent work (2025 to 2026)

In late 2025 she told the Webby Awards she was expanding her home decor and furniture collection, writing a second book and preparing other projects to be announced. She also continues to post room makeovers and seasonal decorating on Instagram and TikTok.

Why no estimate is published

Merhi's income is split across private product sales, licensing deals and sponsored content, none of which is disclosed. Follower counts show reach, not profit. Until a reputable outlet reports on her finances, the honest answer is that her net worth is not public. Readers interested in other designers and creators can see Amy Moffett Brown.
