No independent outlet has published a net worth estimate for Aristotle Varner, so this page does not give one. Makarios Aristotle Varner Jr. is an Atlanta options trader and U.S. Army veteran who sells trading education through Aristotle Investments, a paid trading group chat, an online course and an e-book, and who runs the Honey Drip Network YouTube channel. Almost every revenue figure about his businesses comes from paid or sponsored articles, which we label as such below.

What Is Aristotle Varner's Net Worth?

An earlier version of this page said Varner was worth $22 million. That number had no source, and we could not find it or any other estimate from Forbes, Bloomberg or another outlet that researches personal wealth, so it has been removed.

The coverage that does exist is mostly promotional. A July 2020 article on Yahoo Finance was, by its own label, a paid press release distributed by ACCESSWIRE. A Forbes India piece from the same month ran under its "Brand Connect" banner, which is sponsored content, not Forbes reporting. A 2021 Haute Living profile was written in partnership with a PR desk. These pieces tell us what Varner says about his business, not what an independent reporter confirmed.

Aristotle Varner's Yearly Earnings, Monthly Income and Salary

The old page said he earned $1 million a year, $83,000 a month and $2,700 a day. Those numbers had no source and have been removed.

The only revenue figures on record are ones his business supplied for promotional articles. They are set out here with that caveat, not as verified facts:

ClaimWhere it appearedType of source
Company grossed $1.2 million in its first year and nearly $5 million by mid-2020Forbes India, July 2020Sponsored (Brand Connect)
Revenue grew from $30,000 a month in 2019 to $300,000 a monthOne West MagazinePromotional profile
More than 50,000 followers using his methodYahoo Finance, July 2020Paid press release
E-book sold more than 70,000 copiesHaute Living, February 2021Written in partnership with a PR desk

None of these companies publish audited accounts, and revenue is not the same as profit or personal income. Trading-education businesses also carry high marketing costs. So these claims cannot be turned into an income or net worth figure.

Early Life and Military Service

Varner is from Atlanta, Georgia. He joined the U.S. Army in 2014 at 18, according to the 2020 press release, which also gave his age as 24 at that time. Promotional profiles say he cut hair for fellow soldiers on base and used those earnings to teach himself investing, reading about markets in his spare time. Forbes India's sponsored piece says he started his company in his fifth year of service.

The previous page said he was "born into a wealthy family," had a master's degree and was 26 years old and 5 feet 5 inches tall. None of those claims has a source. The press-release account of an Army enlistment funded by barbering is the opposite of the "wealthy family" story, and no published source mentions a master's degree. Those details have been removed.

Aristotle Varner's Wife

Varner is married to Asia Varner. The 2020 press release describes her as his partner in the business who manages it behind the scenes, runs its social media and updates the trading chat, and says the couple has a young son. One West Magazine says he started the company in December 2018, the day after learning his wife was pregnant. XXL also refers to Asia Varner as his wife and an investor.

Professional Life: Aristotle Investments

Varner's business, marketed as Aristotle Investments, sells access to his options trading approach through several products. One West Magazine and the 2020 release list them as:

  • Aristotle Signals and Learning LLC: a paid group chat where he posts a watch-list of stocks before the market opens.
  • AMUU LLC (AMU University): an online trading course taught through live video sessions.
  • Aristotle's Investing Guide: a beginner's e-book on options trading.

The earlier version of this page said he was known for "live trading in sports betting." We found no source for that. His published business is options trading education, and the page has been corrected.

Options trading carries a high risk of loss. Nothing on this page is investment advice.

Honey Drip Network on YouTube

Varner also hosts a YouTube channel, titled Aristotle Investments & HONEYDRIPNETWORK, where he interviews people about money, business and investing. Viewer and subscriber numbers change constantly, and we could not confirm them from an independent source, so we do not quote them here.

The GloRilla Contract Dispute

Varner's most-covered moment in the entertainment press involved the rapper GloRilla. In May 2024, on The Morning Hustle radio show, he named her as a bad investment and said he had lost about $400,000 because she had not finished tasks she was paid for. He said the matter was going through the courts, XXL reported. XXL also described a court document, first posted online in September 2023, alleging that he paid her $150,000 in 2022 for a joint Instagram post, an in-person meet-and-greet and a 30-minute interview with Asia Varner, and that she made the post but did not complete the other tasks. Black America Web covered the same interview.

These are Varner's allegations. XXL said it had asked GloRilla's representative for comment, and we found no published ruling in the case. We will update this section if a court outcome is reported.

Net Worth Compared

Varner belongs to the online trading-education business, alongside Matthew Thayer, a forex trader and educator profiled on this site. You may also like Arlin Horton and Ariella Iorio.

Why There Is No Reliable Estimate

Everything published about Varner's income comes from sources he or his marketing team supplied, and revenue claims in paid articles are not checked by the outlets that run them. His companies are private, and he has not disclosed trading results, profit, assets or debts. His own interview describes a six-figure loss on the GloRilla deal. With so little independent information, any net worth figure would be a guess, so we do not give one.
